Advancement

This year marks Sonja's last year in Jr. High. Next year she can offically claim High School status! She's pretty excited. :-)

We enjoyed taking her graduation photos and then visited her favorite coffee/book shop as a graduation treat.

Boy this school year went fast! Congratulations Sonja on completing one more big step!

Sixteen

Connor has reached a new notable milestone--he recently turned 16!

We had a great time celebrating him. On his birthday proper, I took him to get a birthday donut. As he was getting out of the car, Sonja told him, "Get a big one". Boy was she surprised to see his two pound birthday donut! :-)

After the pastry, we went out to lunch before playing a couple of games at the bowing alley.

A couple of days later, when the guys had time after work, they took him out for the night. They went to a vintage arcade where they enjoyed old school arcade games, pin ball, board games, game consoles, and throwback music. They had a great time!

Connor got some great gifts and the children went all out on making cards--it was pretty impressive.
