Six Hours

Six hours of reading (each) has annually earned these kids a day of adventure at Six Flags.  They enjoy the reading and love the day of fun with dad that simply enhances their summer.
This year, we discovered that the ticket they earned covered entrance to the park proper, but also to the new (it opened last year) water park.
To say the kids were thrilled would be an understatement.  John packed them up for a double-feature day.  They didn't get many pictures this year, mostly because cameras, water, and kids equals a ton of management.  The gang spent no less than three hours soaked in water slides and wave pools.  The rest of the park was loads of fun too--more water rides (great for the heat), roller coasters, shows, shops, and of course, food.

With the age and size differences, it's hard to get everyone on a ride, but they found a few

These two are old enough, tall enough, and daring enough to ride just about anything and everything in the park

The Wonder Woman ride is Hannah's absolute favorite

Pizza lunch is a tradition
The day is always L O N G and the gang returns home beyond tired, but each of them is thankful to go and looks forward to next time immediately.  Thank you Read to Succeed for another memory maker!
