Easter

Easter was right after my birthday this year.  Being new in the area, we didn't have much in the way of plans, so we stuck to options that have worked well in the past.  We attended church, dyed eggs,

had an egg hunt, watched classics like The Ten Commandments and Risen, we used the Resurrection Eggs to review the story of the Crucifixion,
we had a confetti egg toss and battle, and we enjoyed a good dinner (not necessarily in that exact order).

The kids were happy with the day as were John and I, so I'd count it as a holiday well spent.  :-)
